The Year Of Conversion

This year, I will be spending a fair amount of my development efforts updating all my existing iOS apps to fit the new look and feel of iOS 7, as well as to take advantage of new features in the new operating system.

So far, Tuneful Tiger for iPhone and iPod touch has been successfully re-designed for iOS 7. I must say I am quite happy with the update so far, especially with the number of existing users that are updating to the newest version available. As a bit of a side note, there is one feature relating to images that I have been testing for a little bit now, that will be added to Tuneful Tiger for iPhone and iPod touch in the very near future.

The next app that will be updated for iOS 7 is Tuneful Tiger HD for iPad. This is well underway, and I am very pleased with the current progress. I think with this update, the Tuneful Tiger family of apps (iPhone/iPod touch, iPad, Mac) will become even more unified. Yet another side note, I hope to add in iCloud synchronization to the Mac version very soon. I realize it has been a long time since I said I would add it, but I ran into some difficult bugs to overcome. I now believe I should be able to implement the iCloud syncing without any issues.

Beyond the Tuneful Tiger apps, I think the next two logical apps in line for an iOS 7 update are Cinematic Cheetah and Apptical Albatross. After those two apps are updated, I will systematically work on each of my iOS apps, until they are all updated for iOS 7.

Thanks for reading and following along with me! I have never been more excited to be a developer for iOS or the Mac. iOS 7 and Mavericks truly represent a new shift in Apple's platforms!
